You can only participate with the alliance you were in when matchmaking began. If you switch alliances during the event, you will be unable to participate unless you return to your original alliance.

If you leave your alliance during the Preparation Phase, all squads you have set will be removed.

If you leave your alliance during the Scout Phase or Battle Phase, all set squads will be retained.
