Lives are the heart-shaped icons shown at the top of the home screen. The number inside the heart shows how many lives you have, up to a maximum of 5. The number of lives you have indicate how many attempts you have to beat a level.

When you fail a level, you will lose one life. And whenever you have less than 5 lives, you will recover one life automatically every 30 minutes.
