Power-ups can be created by matching tiles in different ways:

- Laser: match 4 same colored tiles in a line.

- Grenade: match 5 same colored tiles in a L or T-shape.

- UFO: match 4 same colored tiles in a square.

- Disco Ball: match 5 same colored tiles in a line.

Use power-ups for the following effects:

- Laser: clears items in a column or a row depending on which direction it is pointed.

- Grenade: clears items within a two-tile radius.

- UFO: clears a random obstacle. When taking off, an UFO also clears neighboring items.

- Disco Ball: clears all tiles of the same color.

Combine power-ups for special effects:

- Laser + Laser: clears the row and column of that tile.

- Laser + Grenade: clears three rows and three columns of that tile.

- Grenade + Grenade: clears the items within a four-tile radius.

- UFO + Laser/Grenade: makes the UFO carry the Grenade or Laser along with it to a random tile.

- Disco Ball + Laser/Grenade/UFO: turn the most common tiles on the board into a Laser/Grenade/UFO.

- Disco Ball + Disco Ball: clears all items and also clears one layer from any obstacle.
