After expanding your farm to 36x36, expansion, there will be a new expansion mode on your farm:
New plots will be shown outside the existing 36x36 farm. Every plot will cover a 4x4 area.
New expansion rules:
1. You can unlock any 4x4 plot that are connected to the current farm.
2. The difficulty of unlocking new plots will change with the number of unlocked plots.
