An Avatar is your farm profile picture. There are many Avatars to collect in the game. You can get them by either completing achievements or purchasing them from the Mystery Store using Coins or Mystrons.
To change your Avatar picture, you can tap on the top left corner icon > your picture icon. You can choose to either use your Facebook profile picture or an Avatar picture.
Besides the Avatar profile picture, you can also change your Avatar picture frame. Different frames can be obtained by collecting Club Points from the Country Club, winning Farm Beauty Contests or from different activities.
Note: when you buy items from the Mystery Store, please note the frame around the picture which indicates that the item is actually an Avatar. See the picture below for an example of an Avatar in the Mystery Store.
