Grandpa is here to help you modernize your farm! Help him build the Laboratory and you will be able to speed up production of farm activities and grow unique crops and fruits. The Laboratory unlocks at level 11 on the Seaside Farm.

 

 

Unlock and use the Basic Research Techs to immediately collect honey, milk and cheese. Using active Techs also give you Research Points that will increase the Lab Level.

 

Close the Laboratory and tap on the grey bar on the bottom of your screen to open the Tech Tray. Here you can choose the Tech you want to activate.

 

To use and power your Techs you require a special chemical substance, Farmium! Open the Daily Quest Chests to collect Farmium.

 

Once you have mastered the Basic Research Techs and reached Lab Level 2, you are ready to choose a Research Topic. There are 4 Research Topics at the moment: Cropology, Treeology, Zoology and Mechology. You can choose any of these topics as you like. Upgrade your lab level to gradually unlock more topics. A maximum of 4 topics can be owned at the same time.

 

Cropology gives you the technology to plant crops at a lower cost, get rare crop seeds and special recipes for the Stove House (see FAQ [Hot Topic] Stove House).

The first Cropology Tech isFrugal Powder. Thanks to Frugal Powder you will be able to save on planting costs. When you have unlocked the rare crops passive Techs in Cropology, you will also have a chance to get rare seeds while using this Tech. Open this Tech in the Lab Panel and tap “?” to check the tutorial.

 

Treeology gives you the technology to zap trees for extra products and coins. You can also get rare fruit seeds and special recipes for the Stove House (see FAQ [Hot Topic] Stove House).

The first Treeology Tech is theTree Zapper. Thanks to the Tree Zapper you can get extra products and coins. When you have unlocked the rare fruits passive Techs in Treeology, you will also get rare seeds while using this Tech. Open this Tech in the Lab Panel and tap “?” to check the tutorial. You can only use Tree Zapper on ripe coin trees and the tree will disappear afterwards!

 

Zoology gives you the ability to have an animal produce very fast without eating anything! You can also get rare animal materials and special recipes for the Stove House (see FAQ [Game Tips Seaside Farm] Stove House).
The first Zoology Tech is called Wild Hunger. Thanks to Wild Hunger you can have an animal produce automatically for a period of time for free. When you have unlocked the Rare Materials passive Tech in Zoology, you will also get rare materials while using this Tech. Open this Tech in the Lab Panel and tap “?” to check the tutorial.

Mechology gives you the ability to produce a batch of mysterious products immediately! You can also get rare product materials and special recipes for the Stove House (see FAQ [Game Tips Seaside Farm] Stove House).
The first Mechology Tech is called Out of Nowhere. Thanks to Out of Nowhere you can have your machine produce many surprising products immediately! When you have unlocked the Rare Materials passive Techs in Mechology, you will also get rare materials while using this Tech. Open this Tech in the Lab Panel and tap “?” to check the tutorial.

 

 

When using active skills of each research topic, you have a chance to get rare seeds or materials for planting unique crops and fruits or processing unique products. Your seeds and materials will be stored in the Rare Bank.

 

You need a certain amount of seeds or materials before you can plant or process them. For crops and trees, every rare seed has several growth stages. Open the Rare Bank and tap on the ‘i’ next to the rare seed or materials icon to find the specific information. You will need Energy Essence to grow your special crops/fruits or process your materials. Finish Guest Orders from the Guest Center to get Energy Essence (see FAQ Guest Center).

After you harvest the special crops/fruits or processed rare materials, they will be stored in the Lab Storehouse.
