If you have buildings or trees blocking your view on the farm, there's an easy trick to hide them. First tap on the yellow arrow in the bottom right of your screen. Then tap on the blue arrow pointing at 4 different directions.
After that you can tap on the blue eye icon in the bottom left of your screen.
