[Assigning Teams]
Before entering the Kingdom Defender level, choose five heroes from your list for the current level challenge.
[Summon]
Tap the summon button at the bottom right corner of your screen to randomly summon a hero from your formation.
[Position]
Summoned ranger heroes will appear on the battlefield grid and attack the enemy. Summoned melee heroes will appear on the path, attacking and blocking enemies. Melee heroes will also appear on the battlefield grid for hero merging. A melee hero cannot launch an attack from the battlefield grid. If there are multiple melee heroes in a column in battlefield grid, only one will be shown in the path. This unit will be with one from the column when it dies.
[Merge]
Merging is an innovative aspect of Kingdom Defender, different from typical tower-defense games. Valor Legends merge results are randomly generated from the 5 heroes in the formation. Melee heroes have a chance of merging into rangers while rangers can merge into melee. Heroes' attributes are improved after merging. Only heroes of the same serial number and type can be merged.
[Resource Points]
Defeat enemies to obtain resource points, which can be used to summon or level up heroes.
[Leveling up]
Consuming resource points can raise a hero's level and significantly improve their attributes.
In Kingdom Defender, your can adopt various strategies by matching different heroes when taking on challenging levels. Don't feel discouraged if your suffer a few Ls. If you continue to cultivate heroes, they will inherit the cultivation Lv. in Kingdom Defender. Kingdom Defender adopts innovative summoning and merge gameplay that might be a bit different from other tower defense games you've played before.
