Here are different types of buildings in Dragonscapes:

Factories - used to produce products by adding different ingredients (for example, the Bakery);

Energy Exchangers - used to exchange specific ingredients for instant Energy (for example, the Fruit Cart);

Product Exchangers - used to exchange ingredients for a specific product (for example, the Honey Extractor);

Energy Producers - used to produce products that produce instant energy (for example, the Pot);

Quest Buildings - these are buildings you are required to build during the quest storyline (for example, the Lighthouse);

Some of these are unlocked by exploring and some can be bought directly from the Shop.
